Lets see, I haven't really been doing anything artsy but practicing, mostly since nanomango is next month. And...I still can't draw people to really save my life. Well, other than quick sketches. Nothing really manga/comic strip worthy. I've also been working on wrinkles. I hate wrinkles almost as much as I'm hating one of my characters right now, but that's a hard battle.

Ug. I think I'm just gonna draw the pages as fast as possible to reduce the hassle/refraining from tearing apart my sketchbook. That I still need to buy for this project. I'm doing that next pay day.

Watched the new Star Trek movie, which I'll freely admit, I was skeptical. I mean, it's Star Trek, and it was based on the *old* Star Trek. Now, movie producers have been slowly destroying one childhood icon at a time. What was stopping them from destroying something else? Either way, I was going to end up watching it on the IMAX dome so failure or not, that was fun as well as the exhibition at the Detroit Science Center, which was smaller than we all thought it was going to be. Thought we would have to tie my roommate down from trying to claw her way into some of the props...but it was otherwise fun. I really liked the timeline.

Speaking of which, pleasantly surprised with the movie, as it ROCKED MY SOCKS OFF and I want to see it again. And again. And again. And shout "UST" at half the scenes. Because really...there was some UST going on there. And I want more of this universe. In the car, all of us were like "We want a tv show and we want it now!". It would be epic, no matter what the budget was, mostly since most of the props have already been made/saved onto a disk somewhere.

So...that's all I really wanted to say. Bore ya'll to death yet?
